Victor Abeloos was a Belgian painter born on 25 December 1881 in Saint-Gilles (Sint-Gillis), Brussels and died on 18 August 1965 in Ixelles (Elsene), Belgium.
Abeloos studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels under prominent teachers such as Isidore Verheyden and Alfred Cluysenaar.
He was a versatile artist whose work included portraits, female nudes, still lifes, landscapes, seascapes, animals, mythological scenes, and socially themed subjects—often marked by a personal style that distanced itself from strict academic conventions. 135 x 95 cm
